I spent many years working in libraries. I’ve worked in academic, public and school libraries. As I’m sure you can imagine, I’ve seen a lot of books, but when I saw the colorful, sturdy books from Usborne, I fell in love with them.

I bought way too many Usborne books for my personal library, but I never thought about selling them. I was busy holding story time, toddler time and baby time programs. I was helping kids figure out the answers to their reference questions and was teaching them how to use the library.

Then, I started working from home as a freelance writer. A few years after I began working from home, I realized that I could sell the books I loved and became an independent consultant for Usborne Books & More. Now, I can introduce other people to these marvelous books and can earn money so I can add more books to my collection!
